Type the code into the “Promo Code” box on your cart page, and you will see the discount applied to the order ahead of payment. When more than one code is available to you, the site applies whichever gives the biggest saving on its own.

Yes. On the Saudi site you can pay through Tamara or Tabby in 3 or 4 instalments, with no interest and no fees. To use it you must live in Saudi Arabia and be at least 18, and your limit depends on your record with the instalment provider.

Returning items from an instalment order reduces the remaining payments by the refund amount; if the refund is bigger, those payments are cancelled and the difference comes back to you. The delivery page also lists Apple Pay and local and international cards like Mastercard and Visa.

The return window is 14 days from delivery. Take the item to any store with your receipt, or, for shoppers with a registered account, open “My Orders” and request the return online; guest orders cannot be returned online.

Items must be unused and in their original condition. The main exceptions are:

• Swimwear, lingerie, underwear, beauty and care products, perfumes and personalised items are excluded from both returns and exchanges.
• Items from brands such as CROCS, VANS, HOKA, ADIDAS, PUMA and Nike, plus the other brands named on the page, go back online only and are not accepted in store.
• Items that benefited from two or more offers go back in store only.
• Delivery charges are refunded only if what arrives is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered.

Once you request an online return, a courier picks up the items within between 2 and 4 business days. Checking them and issuing the refund can take as long as 7 business days, and your bank may need as many as 14 further business days before the money appears in your account.

The refund lands on the card used for payment, or you receive it in the form of an e-gift card. Orders paid in cash on delivery and Click & Collect orders have to be returned at a store. There are no direct exchanges; send the piece back, then purchase the one you want in a separate transaction.

Joining is free and entirely digital, and new members get 10% off a single purchase straight away. You earn a point for each SAR spent, and each 500 points brings a SAR 10 voucher you can redeem in H&M HOME or H&M, whether shopping online or in a store.

The membership page mentions further perks, some limited to the “Plus” level, among them a 30% birthday discount on a single item, extra savings during sales and free collection from a store. Collecting 1,500 points takes you to “Plus”.

Keep in mind that returning something bought with a voucher only refunds what you actually paid; the voucher itself is not reissued.

You have just one hour after ordering to cancel, via live chat or a call to customer service on 8004414440. When preparation of the order has started it can no longer be cancelled; you will need to accept delivery and then go through the return process.

Card payments are returned to the account they came from; how quickly that happens is down to your bank.
