Your total is spread across 3 or 4 payments without interest or fees, and the provider sends reminders before each due date. Any Saudi resident aged over 18 can use it, and the instalment company decides your spending limit based on what you're buying and your track record with them. Return part of an instalment order and the refund comes off the payments still owed; if it exceeds them, the remaining payments are cancelled and the difference is paid back to you.

Take online purchases to any store along with the invoice, or do it online: open “My account”, go to “Orders” and press the return button, then select the items, give a reason, print a return label and fix it to the parcel. According to the product pages, online returns made in this period cost nothing. The courier makes up to 3 attempts to collect the return before giving up and cancelling the return request.

Conditions to check before sending anything back:

• Only registered accounts can return online, each order gets one return request, and that request can't be changed once sent; you'd have to cancel it and open a new one.

Once you request an online return, collection takes roughly between 2 and 4 business days, checking the item and starting the refund can take as long as 7 business days, after which your bank may need as many as 14 further business days.
