Are there rules I should know before redeeming a Carrefour voucher?

Carrefour Saudi Arabia’s terms say a voucher, where the site allows one, is spent in one go at its full value; partial redemption isn’t possible. Fill your cart to at least the voucher amount so none of it goes to waste.

Carrefour also keeps the right to reject or cancel orders, for instance one above the permitted quantities or one containing a mistake in a product’s price or description. An order placed on a deal with an implausibly low price that later gets cancelled was most likely caught by this rule.

What are Carrefour’s delivery fees, and which orders get free delivery?

Charges vary with the delivery option and how much you spend:

  • Scheduled delivery: orders start at SAR 100, cost SAR 9 to deliver below SAR 200, and go free beyond that.
  • Carrefour Now Express: arrives in 120 minutes or less for SAR 9, minimum order SAR 75.
  • Rapid delivery: SAR 9 to get it within 30 minutes; the order has to be at least SAR 75.
  • Third-party seller items: SAR 12 for every seller in an order.
  • Cash on delivery orders: an added SAR 5.

How long does a Carrefour online order take to arrive?

That comes down to who is sending the item. When the app shows “Fulfilled by Carrefour” beneath a product, it leaves a Carrefour warehouse and arrives in 2 working days from when the order is received, stock permitting.

Items labelled “Delivered by supplier” are shipped by the brand or supplier directly, taking up to 4 working days from the order date depending on the supplier’s stock.

How can I pay on Carrefour online, and can I pay in instalments with Tabby or Tamara?

Carrefour’s help center names Visa and Mastercard plus cash on delivery for online orders. Cards must be issued in Saudi Arabia or another GCC country; international cards are declined. Tabby and Tamara aren’t mentioned among the online payment options, so see what the checkout page offers you.

Loyalty points can be used as payment too. Type the value you wish to use into the discount box at checkout and the total changes instantly; with enough points, the entire order can be covered.

How many days does Carrefour give for returns, and what is non-returnable?

Non-food items may be returned or exchanged within 7 days if they are unused, undamaged while in your hands and identical to what was shipped, and they come back with any free gifts, the accessories, the delivery note and the order confirmation. Food can be returned or exchanged only on the day of the order itself.

Returns are handled either by a home collection or at your nearest Carrefour hypermarket; a home collection may carry a delivery charge. The following can’t be returned:

  • Vitamins, dietary supplements, sports nutrition, and hair care and personal care products.
  • Opened or used perfumes, cosmetics, skincare and health products.

Will Carrefour take back a mobile phone or a large appliance?

Phones and other electronics have to come back unopened, with the seal intact and in the original packaging. Once a product has been opened, had its seal removed or been used, no refund is given unless a manufacturing defect is found. If it is, send back the box, manuals and every accessory, and Carrefour chooses whether to repair, replace or refund it.

Large appliances, including washing machines, fridges and TVs, can be fully refunded if returned no later than 7 days after delivery with the seal unbroken. Faults that show up later fall under the manufacturer’s warranty.

How long do Carrefour refunds take?

Card refunds normally take between 3 and 10 working days to arrive; the bank decides the exact timing. For an instant refund, switch on the Carrefour wallet, which receives the money straight away.

Your card is charged for the order only when it ships. If you cancel earlier, the amount mentioned in your bank’s message was only a hold, and it is lifted automatically. Likewise, when an item is missing from the order, you pay just for what was delivered.

How do SHARE points work at Carrefour?

SHARE is the loyalty scheme run by Majid Al Futtaim. Points start building only once you install the SHARE app, register and activate the account, and only eligible purchases made on or after the registration date count. At present 10 points are worth SAR 1, a rate the company may change.

When an order is paid partly in points and partly in cash, points are earned on the cash portion alone. Membership is open to individuals 18 or older and not to businesses.
