Bigger baskets cost less to ship. An order below SAR 150 carries a SAR 50 delivery charge, the charge drops to SAR 25 between SAR 150 and SAR 300, and orders above SAR 300 ship free. Standard shipping takes anywhere between 2 and 8 business days, and couriers deliver from Saturday through Thursday.

Need a supplement before a particular date? Order ahead of time: when we looked, Myprotein's delivery page carried a warning that shipments heading to Saudi Arabia could be held up by transport disruptions.

  • Delivery requires the short code from your National Address. Without it, your parcel could be delayed or fail to reach you properly.
  • Orders above SAR 1,000 need the recipient's three-part full name, their date of birth, and the expiry date of their ID or Iqama.

Will I pay customs duty or VAT on a Myprotein order?

VAT of 15% applies to the full order, delivery charge included. That tax and any customs are settled entirely at checkout, and the site states that the courier will not ask you for anything extra.

Orders above SAR 1,000 also attract 5% customs duty, although the rate may differ depending on how the item is classified for customs (its HS code); customer service will tell you the classification if you ask. On top of that comes an admin fee of 2%, calculated on tax and duty combined. You will see all of these charges in the order total ahead of confirming.

How can I pay at Myprotein, and is there a deal on my first order?

According to the help page, you can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express), with Apple Pay or Google Pay, or through PayPal. We could not find cash on delivery or installment plans mentioned anywhere on their pages, so don't rely on either.

At the time of our check, the site was promoting an extra first-order discount that came with a free gift product, a separate extra discount available only in the app, plus a Refer a Friend scheme that gives you a reward once a friend you invited places an order. Offers like these change frequently, so glance at the site's top banner before you order.

Does Myprotein accept returns of protein and supplements?

Returns must be started within 14 days of receiving your order. Food, bottles and supplements are accepted back only while still sealed and unopened, with the seal unbroken, which means a protein tub you have opened and tasted cannot be returned. Clothes have to be unworn and unwashed, with the tags still attached.

  • For hygiene reasons, socks, swimwear and underwear are non-returnable.
  • Only try shoes on inside your home if you want to keep the option of returning them.
  • If you bought Myprotein clothing or accessories from another retailer, Myprotein will not take them back; they have to go back to the shop that sold them.
  • All returns are checked. An item that fails the conditions is not refunded, and it is returned to you with the shipping cost charged to you.

Can I swap a Myprotein item if I picked a flavor or size by mistake?

No. Myprotein has no exchange service. To get a different flavor or size, order the right item separately and return the original for a refund, provided it is still sealed and satisfies the return conditions.
