Promotional coupons are issued at Almatar's discretion and only for a set period. Almatar may change, pause or withdraw them without notice, and the general terms of the app apply to their use.

Yes. Use the cancel button on the website or in the app, and you will receive the refund policy by email. Not every booking can be refunded, though; some tickets and rooms can't be refunded at all, so check the policy for your booking before paying.

Most airlines let you cancel until 24 hours before departure, charging a cancellation fee. When you request a cancellation or change in the app, a customer service agent takes it over and finalises it under the terms; it is complete only after the chat closes and you hear back from them.

Refunds use the original payment method, whether you paid with Tamara, Tabby, mada or a credit card, though some airlines issue credit instead, depending on their policy. Almatar processes refunds in 48 hours, after which banks need between 8 and 15 working days; if it runs beyond that, you are compensated.

Deductions come first: the airline's cancellation charge, the service fee and whatever discount coupon you used. Amounts above SAR 20,000 also lose 2.5% to a bank transfer fee.

Refunds on domestic and international flights carry a SAR 30 service fee for each passenger, which is waived when you have the money put back into your Almatar wallet.

Changing anything on a hotel reservation, from room type, number of guests and name to meals, the hotel itself or the dates, costs whichever is greater: 10% of the additional amount, or SAR 40, and the rule covers bookings whether they are refundable or not.

Refundable hotel reservations can be cancelled free of charge. If your plans might change, weigh up the price gap between refundable and non-refundable rooms.

Select instalments at checkout and the total is divided into equal payments, without interest or added fees; you'll see how many payments there are before confirming. The first payment is taken once verification is complete. Hotels, domestic flights and international flights are all eligible, and it is the instalment provider, not Almatar, that approves or declines you.

Note that cancelling a non-refundable booking does not end your obligation to pay the outstanding instalments. The service is aimed at individuals and families rather than at companies or travel agents.
